Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Nineteen of Year Five of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous chapter, you learned to control your newfound power of Legilimency under the tutelage of Professor Snape.

Later on, you practiced it on several other characters and once you were confident enough, you went to use it on Madam Rakepick.

Sadly, you weren’t able to see anything. As it appears, she is very skilled in Occlumency, which allowed her to shield her mind from your intrusions.

Walkthrough

As usual, you can start things off by doing the lessons. Head to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom when you are ready.

To unlock the Lacarnum Inflamari lesson, you need to obtain nine stars from the Defence Against the Dark Arts classes. Pick the combination of classes that suits you and hit the Start to begin.

Generally, these classes offer a good number of bonus progress actions, so you should do those whenever you get the chance.

And be mindful of the mini-tasks since each of those will give you ten Courage points upon successful completion.

Once the lesson is unlocked, head back to the classroom to attend it.

To learn how to cast the Lacarnum Inflamari spell, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.

Follow the same steps you did during the previous classes and you’ll be done before you know it.

After earning the fifth star, you’ll be tasked with casting the spell.

Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll earn an additional reward for completing the lesson. You can claim it in the Defence Against the Dark Arts section of your Hogwarts Record.

Next, head to the History of Magic Classroom.

To unlock the Witch Hunts of 14th Century lesson you need to earn a total of nine stars from History of Magic classes. Like before, choose whichever class combination suits you the most and hit the Start to begin.

These classes also have a decent number of actions with bonus progress available, which should make things a bit easier.

Also, try completing as many of the mini-tasks as possible to earn some additional Knowledge points.

After you earn enough stars to unlock the lesson, go back to the classroom to attend it.

Learning about the Witch Hunts of the 14th Century requires you to earn five stars within eight hours.

This one is fairly similar to any of the eight-hour classes. The biggest difference is that all five stars are required to pass.

Lastly, once you have all five stars, you’ll need to quickly write an essay.

Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You’ll earn an additional reward for completing the lesson. You can claim it in the History of Magic section of your Hogwarts Record.

Now that you’ve dealt with the lessons, you can proceed to the Headmaster’s office to meet Professor Dumbledore.

He’ll ask if you know the reason why he requested your presence. You have three options to respond with. All of those will lead to the same outcome, but picking the third option will open some interesting dialogue lines (you will also earn 5 House Points if you select this option).

In any case, he’ll tell you to use Legilimency on him. Trace the wand movement on the screen to cast the spell.

This task requires you to earn at least one out of five stars within an hour.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Professor Dumbledore. Prioritize it to save a bit of energy.

Once you’re done, Dumbledore will advise you to spend more time with your friends and have fun.

Shortly after, you’ll get the task to meet your friends in the Courtyard. Proceed there when you are ready.

Upon arriving, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters by tapping on the speech bubbles above them.

Your next task involves chatting with your friends and checking out how everyone is doing lately.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Ben. Focus on it whenever it is available to save some energy.

After talking for a while, Rowan will start getting an awful headache.

Eventually, something or someone will start controlling your friend, similar to what happened to Ben in the previous year.

Rowan will ask which of your friends should be the one to die. You have three options to choose from.It is highly recommended to pick the third option.

Depending on your choice, Rowan will prepare to blast either you or Ben. However, Barnaby will intercept the blast and he’ll get hit instead.

Ben will be quick to react and hit Rowan with the Knockback Jinx.

This will knock Rowan unconscious.

You’ll ask Barnaby if he is all right. Luckily, he wasn’t seriously injured. Moments later, you’ll take Rowan to the Hospital Wing.

Your next task involves visiting Rowan. However, you’ll have to wait three hours before you can continue.

Head to the Hospital Wing once the waiting time is over. When you get there, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters by tapping on their speech bubbles.

According to Madam Pomfrey, Rowan was under the influence of the Imperius Curse.

After discussing the situation for a while, you’ll get to question Rowan about what happened. Completing this task requires you to earn five stars within three hours. Passing, on the other hand, only requires one star.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Madam Rakepick and Madam Pomfrey. Focus on those if you want to save energy.

According to the Professors, whoever used the curse on Rowan had to be present in the Courtyard at the time.

Madam Rakepick will ask you who else was there. You have three options to respond with.The correct answer is Percy Weasley.It will grant you 15 Knowledge and 10 House Points. If you choose any of the other two options, you will lose 10 House Points.

Rakepick will then ask you to meet her in Knockturn Alley. Proceed there when you are ready.

Before talking to her, you can interact with some of the Knockturn denizens and see what they have to say.

Madam Rakepick will explain why she invited you to Knockturn Alley.

She’ll ask if you think there is a possibility Rowan could be R. You have three response options.If you like Rowan, it is highly recommended to pick the second option.

As it seems, Rakepick has the plan to catch the culprit responsible for this, but she won’t be ready to share it with you yet.

She’ll then decide to show you the Cruciatus Curse, one of the three unforgivable curses.

Your character will be repulsed by the mere thought of learning it.

Regardless, she will decide to explain it to you anyway. This task requires you to earn at least one out of five stars within eight hours.

There are two bonus progress actions tied to your character. Prioritize those if you are looking to save energy.

When you finish the task, Madam Rakepick will demonstrate the curse on one of the Knockturn denizens.

Needless to say, the Dark Wizard won’t enjoy the effects of this curse.

Not long after that, Chapter 19 of Year 5 will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 250 Coins and 2000 Experience points. This will also add Diego to your list of friends.
