Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for Chapter Fifty-Nine of Year Seven of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous chapter, you’ve talked with Professor Dumbledore about your future, and you’ve helped him cast protective enchantments around the castle.
You have spent some time with your brother at St. Mungo’s Hospital and with Merula at the last Potions Class. You’ve disbanded the Circle of Khana because your old friend Rowan is finally avenged. Lastly, you have learned that Olivia is no longer teaching the Defence Against the Dark Arts, but Professor Quirrell. You decided to ask Olivia why she resigned and returned to work for the Ministry.

(Disclaimer: Images used in this Walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Gryffindor student. While there are some minor dialogue differences, most of the tasks will play out the same, regardless of your house.)
Go to the Ministry All-Purpose Room to talk with Olivia. Once you are there, you can check what employees at the Ministry have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads. You can even check how your old friend Herbert Chewsworthy III is doing. You will meet Olivia, Mr. Elton, and his faithful companion Herbert. They will be impressed by your great deeds.
You will point out that this matter isn’t quite closed because your dad went over the edge of the bridge with Ryusaki’s amulet.
Neither Olivia nor Elderberry have heard anything new about your father. After this conversation, you will remember to ask Olivia why she resigned from Hogwarts. She will agree to tell you everything while having some tea.
To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.
Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and Herbert.
Your friend will mention that she feels like she belongs at the Ministry.
This will sound a lot like a hint. She will dismiss your worries, saying that you should not worry about them. She’ll thank you for everything you have done.
You will thank Olivia and Mr. Elton for helping you take down ‘R’. After this topic, you will explain that, with graduation coming up, you want to talk with everyone who helped you. Mr. Elton will have a question for you. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you like.
Olivia will mention that a charming wizard came to visit her at her office when she was packing, and he wanted to see you. Although she couldn’t recall his name straight away, you will figure out it’s your old friend Bill Weasley. You will decide to send him an owl right away.
Before you can meet him, you’ll have a waiting time of four hours.
Once the waiting time is over, go to the Training Grounds. You will meet with Bill and he’ll say that Charlie told him everything that happened.
You will find out that Charlie will work in Romania at the Dragon Sanctuary.
Bill will wonder what your plans are after graduation. This choice won’t have an impact on the overall story, so feel free to choose an option you like.
He will offer you some advice about life after Hogwarts. If you completed the “Career Advice” Side Quest, you will get additional lines of dialogue.
To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.
Bonus progress actions will be tied to both Bill and your character. Prioritize actions tied to your character because you will get bonus progress more frequently.
You will repeat what you’ve learned.
Bill will point out that you should look forward to the future, but enjoy the present. He’ll ask you what you’re most excited about. This choice won’t have a significant impact, so feel free to choose the option you like.
Bill will remind you that you’ll come back to Hogwarts often, but you’ll have new places to explore too.
You will notice that Bill is a little nervous. He’ll explain that there’s been a sense of unease lately in the wizarding world.
He will say that you should not be worried about it yet and that you should focus on cleaning your dorm room and packing. You realized something very important.
You will thank Bill for his advice, and you’ll decide to ask your friends about their plans. Maybe that will shed some light on your future path.
Go to the Common Room of your house when you are ready to continue the story. Once you are there, you can check what other students have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads. Slide the screen left and right to check all the available options. This task may feature different characters and slightly different but similar dialogues, depending on your House.
If you are in Gryffindor you will talk with Ben. He will be glad that Sorting Hat put him in Gryffindor.
He will ask you which trait represents Gryffindor you identified the most. Feel free to choose the option you like. Depending on your house, the options will differ because each house has its own traits and values. This choice will influence some dialogue later.
Ben will be confident that your trait will help you a lot in the real world. You will then ask him what kind of plans everyone is making.
To ask other students what their plans are after graduation, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to have a full energy bar before starting this task.
There is only one bonus progress action for the Gryffindor version of the task, and it’s tied to Cory. Prioritize her actions to save some energy. Don’t forget to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions.
Pay attention to the bubble text on the bottom left side of the screen. You can learn a lot about where your friends will go and work in the future.
You will be happy that your friends have landed great jobs. Jae will be in London, Corey’s going to be in Hogsmeade, Charlie’s going to Romania, and Ben is going to the United States to work for MACUSA. Ben will explain in more detail.
It seems like everyone’s made plans except for you. Suddenly, Professor McGonagall will appear. She will want to give you a final bit of advice. She’ll comment on how you’ve done a lot of things during your time at Hogwarts, the most recent of which is your role in the Battle on the Bridge.
Because you’ve proven yourself, she won’t doubt that you’re ready to take on whatever comes next. The professor will ask you which skill you’ve learned will benefit you the most. Feel free to choose the option you like.
The following lines of dialogue will differ based on your previous choice.
She will also mention how she’ll miss you.
You will remember Hagrid, so you’ll decide to talk with him as well before you graduate. Before you meet Hagrid, you’ll need to wait three hours.
Once the waiting time is over, go to Hagrid’s Garden to meet him. Once you are there, you will meet Hagrid, and you will guess right away that Fang has gone missing.
Hagrid will mention that a lot of students come through Hogwarts, but few have made the impression you have. He will be very emotional.
He will say that he’s proud of you, and he’ll miss you.
You’ll decide to cheer him up by remembering the good times you had together. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Three stars are required to pass.
Bonus progress actions are tied to Hagrid and the pumpkin on the left. Prioritize this action to save a bit of energy.
Hagrid will be glad that you’ve grown so much since you were a First Year and he’ll have no doubt that you will do great things in the future.
You will point out that all your friends have made their plans. Hagrid will assume that you feel like the only one who hasn’t. He will ask you how you feel about it. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so choose the option you like.
You will think about going to London next because a lot of your friends will go there, and the Ministry is there as well.
Hagrid will like your idea.
Suddenly, Fangs will appear.
Hagrid will thank you for coming, and he will remind you that it’s time for you to graduate. This will mark the end of the chapter. Hit the collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 350 Coins and 2000 Experience Points.
The graduation ceremony will soon arrive! Finally, after so much studying and after so many adventures, this epic moment will arrive. What kind of job you’ll take after graduation? What future holds? Find out in the exciting next Chapter of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
