Tommy Furyappeared to make a last-ditch attempt to keep his relationship with fiancée Molly-Mae Haguegoing just weeks before she revealed they had split after five years together.

Three weeks ago, Molly-Mae, 25 was surprised when her professional boxer partner, also 25, arrived home with a ginormous bouquet of red roses and lilies for her in a very public declaration shared on Instagram Stories.

The former creative director of PrettyLittleThing gave her fans on Instagram a close-up of the surprise gift and captioned the photo '1 year as a fiancé (sic)'.

However, on Wednesday, Molly-Mae shocked fans when she wrote a lengthy statement explaining she and Tommy had separated following months of recurring rumours.

She wrote: 'Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.

'I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.

'I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

'I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.

'Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I'll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.'

But, in July, Molly-Mae re-posted a video of the surprise engagement in black and white, and wrote alongside it: 'This literally feels like last week? Time is going to quickly it's scaring me.'

Tommy paid tribute the milestone on his Instagram, with a gushing post featuring a snap of the couple kissing with the caption: 'A year today since I asked the best question I have ever asked in my life. can't wait to spend forever with you. Happy anniversary baby'.

That same day, Molly shared a clip of the moment she said 'yes' to boyfriend Tommy and captioned her Instagram post: 'One year ago today I was tricked into going on a fake brand trip on which the love of my life would ask me to marry him.'

Molly-Mae and Tommy announced their engagement with a gorgeous black and white video of the proposal that took place on a picturesque cliffside.

Tommy surprised the influencer with the proposal six months after they welcomed their daughter Bambi.

The loved-up posts came after months of speculation and split rumours which the pair had been consistently shutting down - but that were proved on Wednesday to be based in truth.

In a June YouTube video, Molly-Mae detailed how 'amazing' Tommy is as a father.

In the clip,the businesswoman insisted Tommy is 'everything she could wish him to be and more'.

But, rumours they had split had already gained momentum after Molly-Mae failed to wish Tommy a happy birthday on social media in June.

Prior to that, Molly-Mae had complained of a 'sex drought' during a Q&A video.

She revealed that the pair had not been intimate for almost a year after the birth of their first child, now 19-months-old.

Molly-Mae and Tommy first sparked concerns of relationship woes in 2023 when Molly-Mae was seen without her engagement ring on multiple times.

Their 'rocky patch' came immediately after Tommy's wild nights out in Dubai with Chris Brown left Molly-Mae 'mortified' by his partying behaviour.
