17 Keep An Eye On Your Level & Experience Bar

Like many mobile games, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery makes use of an "energy system" that is tied into the core gameplay. There are a lot of interesting mechanics to be found sprinkled throughout the Hogwarts adventure and many (if not most) of them require players to expend valuable energy. When a gamer runs out of energy, they'll be forced to "get more" before they can progress.
Energy can be purchased, snagged as a reward from certain quests and activities (although many do not recommend this, as other rewards are much more valuable), or repaired naturally via timed replenishment. By simply waiting, the energy ball will refill over time, which is the cheapest and best option for most. However, those that are paying attention to their experience bar can completely refill their energy meter should they level up. This can be a great way to expend a ton of energy to get rewards, while simultaneously leveling up to refill the meter.

16 Always Grab Gems As Rewards

Unfortunately, as much as the best students may deserve them, only one gift can be accepted per offering.
Energy-hungry players may immediately cling to the idea of banking the valuable resource to immediately complete tasks and quests but the star of the show will always be gems. This bright-colored currency can only be refilled by spending real money on the title and can be used for a variety of things to help players progress. Energy will refill over time and attributes and coins can be ground out. It's highly recommended that whenever players have an opportunity to receive free gems, they take them.
15 Utilize The Notification System

If you don't mind having notifications pop up on your phone screen then it would be a good idea for you to allow Hogwarts Mystery to send you notifications. You'll spend a lot of time waiting for your energy to replenish unless you're willing to shell out a lot of cash.
If you want to ensure you're prepared the moment the time limit is complete, then it is a good idea to allow notifications so you don't miss out on something important.
14 Tap On Items For Energy
- Tap items and house elves every six hours.
According to Prima Games, there are a lot of items strewn about in the game that you can tap to earn a little extra energy. One of the biggest frustrations for players is the fact you have to wait so long for your energy to replenish, or else pay real money to speed up the process.
If you tap on the house elves you see around, you'll get some energy! Other things you can tap is the first blank portrait in the East Towers, books near the Bench on the Lower Floor East, the second suit of armor in the Great Hall, and more. 12 Turn Off The Wifi To Reset Your Game
- Uninstalling and reinstalling won't work for Hogwarts Mystery. You'll need to start the game with Wifi off to get a fresh character.
There may come a time when you want to reset your game completely and get a fresh start. Maybe you want to make some different decisions or maybe you took a break and now you want to begin again without all your previous choices affecting you.
Normally to restart a game, you would just uninstall the app and then reinstall but that doesn't work for Hogwarts Mystery. 1 Max Out Your Attributes

Your character in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery comes with three key attributes you can level up throughout the game: Courage, Empathy, and Knowledge.
